When I saw this stamp in the annual catalog I knew I had to have it. It is a single stamp and it comes in both Wood and Clear mount.
I love the pairing of Delightful Dijon and Basic Black. I created this thank for a colleague that was leaving our organization. I wanted to express my thanks for the effort she put forth and also wish her well in her new role. While the font is whimsical, the color combination gives it that rich professional look I was striving for.
The Basic Black Stitched Satin Ribbon is stunning. It is like that little black dress in your closet!
The best wishes sentiment is a Paper Pumpkin stamp. This month Stampin' Up! is donating $2 for every new Paper Pumpkin subscriber and $1 for every existing subscriber as they prepare for Breast Cancer month in October. Just click here for more information.

So very glad it is the weekend. While I am still up at zero dark thirty, it is nice to know I can do some errands and get in much needed crafting time.
You have heard me say that I often come back and tweak a card before posting it. Well today's card is another example for you. After completing the card I did not feel it was finished. There was something missing. Here is the first edition of my card:
I am one of those people who often solves problems while I am sleeping. Or is it that my mind is clear and rested and the answers seems so obvious with a little rest? Either way I woke up and knew what I wanted to add. Let's see the difference.
I think the thin pieces of DSP are the perfect finishing touch. Interesting that my card front sentiment says, the little things and that is all my card needed, a little detail to finish it off. What do you think?
And this is the inside of the card. A non-Stamping' Up stamp but I loved the sentiment. The statement is so true.
Now I can upload the second version to the PPA Sketch Challenge. I hope you will play too.
Michelle

Today I have a clean and simple thank you card. This took minutes to create yet will put a smile of the face of the recipient.
The base is one of the great Stampin' Up! Note Cards and Envelope sets. They come in Whisper White and Crumb Cake. 20 cards for only $10.95 a GREAT value. Will we see Very Vanilla this year in the new Annual Catalog? I think that would be terrific!
I then took a piece of Whisper White card stock and cut it out with a non-stamping' up die. It is 4 1/4" x 3". Then I stamped the large flower from the Flower Patch stamp set. I stamped it once in Real Red and once in Tangerine Tango. I added coordinating buttons tied with White Bakers Twine.
The sentiment from Something to Say was stamped with Black Memento Ink. Then the entire piece was adhered to the base with Multipurpose Glue.
I lined the envelope with retired DSP. I think this is a great use of my retired DSP!
So don't forget that TODAY starts the FREE SHIPPING promotion from Stamping' Up! So stock up on basics (Whisper White card stock, adhesives, note cards & envelopes, etc.), look closely at the Weekly Deals, and add in a wish list item you have not yet purchased. I am thinking about adding the Fry Box. With free shipping it is like getting it on sale!
Our catalogs are available on the right side panel for your browsing pleasure. If I can answer any questions, just send me an email.
Stop back on Wednesday for the April Pals Blog Hop. Have a great day!

Stamping Up products used to create my project:
Regardless of how old we are we still love to get surprises in the mail. Our sons are off at school and will not be with us for Easter. So last weekend I purchased goodies to ship off to them. As a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and someone who loves to create beautifully wrapped packages. I jazzed up a few of the items in the their Box-Baskets.
Let's take a closer look at some of the items I put in their boxes.
Protein bars dressed up with a belly band of the Sale-a-Bration DSP and adorned with the Petal Potpourri and Flower Medallion Punch (15% when purchased as a bundle!).
Always great to have HandyWipes decorated with another band of DSP, retired Baked Brown Sugar ribbon, and a tag using From the Garden stamp set and coordinating Handpicked Framelits Dies (also 15% discount when purchased together!).
Did you see the "love you're than Chocolate" tag attached to their chocolate bunny? This sentiment is part of the Lovely Amazing You Photopolymer Stamp Set. One of my favorite stamp set this Spring.
Well Stampin' Up! has an Easter give for all of us as well.
Starting Monday April 6th and through Friday April 10th all orders ship for FREE. Yes that is right FREE SHIPPING! So today I am going through my supplies to see what I need (card stock colors I am low on) and perhaps items I might want. This is a GREAT time to stock up and save.
And don't forget the weekly deals will be available through the end of day Monday. This weeks weekly deals are fantastic and you can get them shipped FREE on Monday. So don't miss out on this special sales event.
If I can help you with your order or deciding what to purchase just send me an email.
Happy Easter!
Michelle

This is the last Pals Paper Arts Challenge of the year. I took some creative latitude on this sketch.
Here is the sketch:
As you can see I rotated the sketch.
The base of the card is Garden Green. I used a pattern from the Trim the Tree DSP Paper Stack, now on the Clearance Rack, for the special band and bordered it in Garden Green.
Then I used Blessed Easter, a retired stamp from last year's Occasions catalog. The 2015 Occasions Catalog (goes on sale January 6th) has another beautiful tulip stamp called Love is Kindness. The image was stamped with Memento Black Ink and then colored using Old Olive and Daffodil Delight Blendabilities. Note that you can get these Blendabilitites markers FREE during Sale-A-Bration when you spend $50 you get a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.
The sentiment is from the 2015 Occasions Catalog called Crazy About You. This set has 33 Photopolymer stamps to give you a lot of sentiments for your Spring card making. I quick snip to create the flagged end and the card is complete.
I know there is a lot of white space on this card. For me this says simple elegance. I hope you like it as well.
There is still time to play with the Pals this week. So won't you join in and play with this week's challenge?
Cheers,
Michelle
Oh, how I love this long holiday weekend. I have never been drawn to the Black Friday Frenzy of shopping. I spend my Black Friday decking the halls! It is all coming together well this year. I have not had much time to craft as I have had company all weekend. I got up early (nothing new for me) and grabbed some card making time this morning. I decided to give the PPA Sketch Challenge a try.
Here is the sketch:
I thought about using stars, snowflakes and ornaments but they had all been done already. So I decided to try using trees! At least it is creative...
The garland on the trees is Gold Heat Embossed. The photo does not do it justice.

We have an employee newsletter at my office and each month I select an associate to interview for the Employee Spotlight article. I really enjoy the opportunity to take some time out and really get to know more about a colleague. One question I often ask is "tell me something no one knows about you". This has brought forth many fun hobbies, adventures and interests. A few months ago while doing one of these interviews I learned a colleague loved playing darts. I had no idea. It was fun to share that new found info with everyone in our organization.
This week that associate is celebrating a birthday so I could not resist creating a card unique to her interests. I cannot take credit for the design as I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest by Wendi from Stampsational.
The card was fun and easy to create with the use of the Circle Framelits. The sentiment came from the fun stamp set, Endless Birthday Wishes.
I would love to hear something no one knows about you! Leave me a comment.
Don't forget only two more days to save on trying My Paper Pumpkin! Sign up by September 10th and get the first TWO months at 50% off. Click here to sign up now. Insert HALFOFF2 as the promocode and don't forget to chose me as your demonstrator!
Have a great day!

After a small break the Pals Paper Arts Team is back to kick off the month of August with a Color Challenge. I chose a very clean and simple approach to this color challenge.
Here is the badge for the challenge
Island Indigo and Wild Wasabi are two of my favorite Stampin' Up colors. As I have said before I am not a pastel kind of gal yet Crisp Cantaloupe with these two colors is perfect.
The square base is 3 x 3 and the polka dot DSP from the Regal DSP pack is 1/4" smaller. Of course the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set paired with the Blossom Punch is a staple in the Stampin' Up lineup and always delivers a classic look. The Wild Wasabi leaves were punched out with the Blossom Petals Builder Punch (retired). You could probably use the wing from the Bird Builder Punch as well.
I love the font on this sentiment from the Sumthin' Smithin' Stamp Set. The "celebrate" is fun yet elegant.
I do hope you join in the fun and play with the Pals this week.
Michelle
Stampin' Up Supplies Used: Please click on images below for more details or easy, on-line shopping 24/7!
A few months ago Stampin' Up! had a special promotion to sign up for Paper Pumpkin for half price the first month to encourage stampers/crafters to give it a try. This was enough to persuade me to give it a try. I have now received three Paper Pumkin Kits and I am loving it.
This month's Paper Pumpkin included six wonderful BlackBerry Bliss and White striped boxes, an entire spool of white satin ribbon, stamps, six note cards and evelopes and embellishments. WOW all that for $19.95! Check out what I did with my Paper Pumpkin this month.
The "Wish" in this card came from the Make a Wish stamp set (retired). The Baker's Twine was part of last month's kit.
The "WISH" in this card came from letters included in this month's kit. The "Make A Big" is one of the stamps in the kit.
The "You Were Here" is also a stamp included in the kit. The Lost Lagoon ribbon I used here was from the annual catalog.
And this card displays another stamp, "On A Star", included in the kit. The kit included 8 photopolymer sentiment stamps and two embellishment stamps.
And here is the final card I made with the set. I have one more note card and envelope to stamp and embellish.
I love the Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and Blackberry Bliss together!
So here is the really great news, right now you can join Paper Pumpkin and get the first TWO months at half price. To join just click here or the flyer below. Don't forget to select Michelle Gleeson as your Demostrator!
I do hope you will join the fun. Stampin' Up! listened and they are making these kits better with each month. I can't wait to see what the holiday editions will be!
Thanks for stopping by!

It has been a whirlwind weekend! Much fun, excitement and celebration for our graduate. To all the graduates out there - Congratulations! May you continue on your path to fulfilling your dreams!
Our son is at another graduation party today and I created this card for him to take to his classmate. It was inspired by a card by another Pal, Brian King. I just loved the graduation cap embossed in White Emboss Powder and fussy cut out!

Confession - I have been one of those hold outs in subscribing to My Paper Pumpkin. I have been scrapbooking, crafting and card making for some time and I thought the kits were too basic. Well I was not the only one and Stampin' Up! LISTENED. The last few months the kits have been knocking my socks off. Each month I have been so close to subscribing. Then Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up's co-founder threw out a 50% off your first month subscription offer. Wait the offer is only good through May 23rd! WOW
So I jumped on and subscribed! I would love to have you jump in and join too. There is no long term commitment. If you don't like it you can cancel your subscription. Want to see an example of last month's kit? I am sorry I missed this kit I don't want to miss any more!

Today Stampin' Up's biggest event of the year begins. Sale-A-Bration celebrates stampers, crafters, card makers, and scrapbookers by providing free product when you purchase $50 or more of product. The product can come from the NEW Occasions Catalog or the Annual Catalog. For every $50 you spend you get to choose a free product!
I created a card today using three of the products available.
The DSP is called Sweet Sorbet and is gorgeous. While I am not usually a pastels lover the designs make all the colors pop. The stripe used here is from the DSP collection. The embossing is achieved with the new Decorative Dots Embossing Folder - LOVE this item! It is whimsical and adds lots of texture to your card. The final item featured is the the You're Lovely stamp set which coordinates with the Deco Labels Framelits collection. Again any one of these items is FREE to you when you spend $50. If you spend $100 you can select two items FREE, if you spend $150 you can select three FREE items and get $25 worth of hostess rewards to spend on anything from one of the catalogs. WOW!
You can shop 24/7 at Stampinmojo's Online store. It is safe and convenient! If you want to gather some friends to place an order let me know and I will get you a hostess code to use.
I hope I inspired you to look at the opportunities during our Sale-A-Bration event which runs until March 31st.
Stop back tomorrow as I have a great textured card to share!

Today I created a quick thank you card using one of the Bundles on sale - Morning Post Clear Mount bundle with the Deco Label Collection Framelits. This is one of my go to framelits.
Where did my Mojo come from?
I wanted to feature one of the sale bundles and use Washi Tape and this is the result. I used one Washi Tape from three different Washi sets. And of course the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set added texture and whimsy to my card. And the sentiment is from the Another Thank you Photopolymer Stamp set another one of my favorite stamp sets!!!
I hope I inspired you to take one last look at the items on sale today.
Cheers!
Michelle

Where did my Mojo come from?
Well Stampin' Up! is having their Holiday Sale now through Dec 2nd. It seemed appropriate to feature a Holiday card AND I wanted to feature one of the great items on sale.
