Today I want to celebrate the PPA Color Challenge and the Irish in all of us.
My husband is first born Irish American. His parents each came to America from Ireland in the late 50's. They met in Chicago, got married and had six children. I have enjoyed being a part of their rich cultural heritage. I love Irish music, Irish sausage, and I have even grown to enjoy a Guinness now and then.
So when I saw the color challenge for this week I knew I had to celebrate St Patrick's Day with my card.
Here are the colors for this week's challenge that inspired my card:
My three leaf clover takes center stage. This clover was easily created using the second smallest heart in the Heart Collection Framelits. The gold accents give this card a bit of glam. The sentiment is from the Sumthin' Sumthin' stamp set.
May your troubles be less,
and your blessings be more,
and nothing but happiness come through your door.
Happy Stamping,
Michelle
That double-bow is adorable and I love the richness of the gold banner border!

I am definitely CASEing this card for my step-daughter's birthday which is St. Patrick's day! My husband is of Irish descent and I have been to Ireland twice with him. I too love the culture and would live there in a heart beat!! But you have one over on me... I still cannot drink Guiness.... but I love Irish coffee! I learned something on our last Ireland trip about that coffee.... it tastes so much better when you don't stir it... you knew!! Great card, Michelle!

Fabulous card, Michelle! I thought about trying something like this but chickened out. I may have to CASE for my mom as she's the only one I make a St. Paddy's card for.
