For the past two years I have been making personalized birthday cards for every associate in my office. The other day my husband asked if my efforts were appreciated. I told him I don't do it to be appreciated rather to make someone feel special on their special day. As we get older our birthday's can feel less special. Nonetheless, I considered his question. My answer is Yes. As I walk around the office I see cards I have made displayed in many individuals offices (men and women alike). I'd like to think the cards remind them that someone thought enough to make them a card unique to them.
After two years of creating birthday cards I decided to do something different for 2015. So I have been making small gifts of chocolate. In January I used a Paper Pumpkin kit of Blackberry Bliss and White striped boxes tied with beautiful white satin ribbon, you can see them here. In February I made black, white and red Mini treat bags. And for March I used the A Little Sumthin' Sumthin' Simply Created Gift Box kit.
The sentiment I used was part of the December Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the stamps from this PP kit. Everything you see was included in the kit (other than the sentiment). Don't you just love the pattern on this box (it is a nice heavy weight box). It was fun and easy to create the 10 boxes to be filled with some chocolates.
Here you can see them all assembled. All this for $13.95! I think that is an amazing deal. Perfect for a children's party favor, or to send to your co-ed and his/her friends off at school.
I hope I have inspired you to take a fresh look at our kits. They are a GREAT value and oh so fun to put together.
