The second Tuesday of each month Stamping' Up! releases a new Photopolymer Stamp Set. The set for February is a new favorite. I adore the font and could not wait to get this stamp set inked up. Here is my Simple Saturday card.
I started with SU Note card and envelope base (3.5" x 5") Then I added a piece of birthday bash DSP 1/4" smaller than the base of my card. I absolutely LOVE this fun and whimsical DSP.
I stamped the image in Black Memento Ink on Whisper White then cropped the card stock to 2" x 4" and then using my Angle Tag Punch made it into a tag. The Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers coordinate with the Itty Bitty Punches so I punched out the heart from the Birthday Bash DSP and added it to the back of my sticker. Cute!
A quick and easy knot in a piece of Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon adhered with mini glue dots and my card is ready to make someone smile.
Here is a peek at all the stamps in this stamp set.
I adore all the sentiments and am over the top thrilled with the font. (I know I said that already.)
I ordered extra girl scout cookies and sent them to each of our sons at school. I made cute little note cards that said "love you more than chocolate" - perfect! Of course the postage to send the cookies were more than the cost of the cookies. But you can't replace the fun of picking up a surprise box from Mom.
I hope you have a wonderful Saturday. I will be adding items to my Retired Product For Sale page later today so don't miss the opportunity to pick up some great items at reduced prices.
Thanks for stopping by! All the times used for this card are listed below and can be purchased my clicking an item and shopping 24/7 at the StampinMojo online store.
