The stamp set Kinda Eclectic takes center stage on this card. When I paged through the Annual Catalog many times last May I breezed passed this set each time. I really could not see using this set - I could not find the why for it. Then I began seeing other demonstrators use it over and over and over again. I realized the fun part of this stamp set was it had no why it was simply a set to creative with. And so this is the stamp set I selected to create a birthday card for a colleague who has a creative role in our organization. She is a very creative person who sometimes has to hold back her creativity in her daily work. She has her own eclectic style so I think this is the perfect stamp set to use to create her special birthday card.
You have seen me use purple and green together many times before. I love the color green and purple is so vibrant with it, I just had to use the combination again. This card was inspired by a card I saw on on Pinterest from Splitcoast Stampers.
I chose to use Naturals White card stock rather than Whisper White to give the card more texture. Can you see the fibers in the paper?
I thought it would be best to leave the front of the card without a sentiment. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Endless Birthday Wishes.
Being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator is helping me stretch myself and my creativity. I am glad the Kinda Eclectic stamp set found its way into my stamping collection. What stamp set did you think you would not own and now own? I would love to hear!
Happy Friday and Happy Birthday Crystal.
Stampin' hugs,
Michelle
