Happy Thursday! Today is another Pals Challenge. This week we have our Color Challenge and I love the color combination. Thse colors say Fall to me, so I wanted to welcome Fall in!
The textured background was created by simply inking up my Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder and then running it through the Texture Boutique Machine (the Big Shot would work as well). I like the graininess the ink created on the card stock. I simply washed my Embossing folder with warm water and toweled it dry.
The feathers are from one of the wonderful Bundles in the Holiday Catalog. These are so simple and fun to create. The sentiment is from another new stamp set, For All Things. A couple of circle punches, a piece of Blackberry Bliss Ribbon and some dimensionals give the card the finishing touches.
I couldn't resist stamping another feather inside the card.
You can check out the other amazing designs created by the rest of the design team here. We hope you will play along with us.
Thanks for stopping by,
Michelle

What a fantastic card! Love the color on the wood and everything about it.

Beautiful, Michelle. That was the perfect technique to use with the feathers. I had to do a double-take to see the difference in the stamping…I truly thought it was embossed! Love the peek of the feather inside too.

Okay, Michelle... I need to visit you and learn how to do the inking of the TIEFolders correctly! Yours is perfect! But you have made me think about the Boutique machine again... maybe my Big Shot puts too much pressure on my folders... my ink always crosses the textured lines. Anyway, this is a long winded way of saying that I adore your card! I still don't have the feathers but they are on my wish list. Well done, Pal!!
