The Fusion Card Challenge is always a fun challenge, making you stretch your creativity. Here is the challenge:
The parade of bright colors drew me to participate in this challenge. I pulled out my new Flower Patch Stamp Set and coordinating Flower Fair Framelit dies for this card (save 15% by purchasing them as a bundle). The card base is 3" x 6". My envelope punch board allows me to create cards in any size because I know I can create an envelope for it! Here is the result:
The centers of the flowers are silver however the photograph is not doing them justice. The colors are as follows from the top: Strawberry Slush, Melon Mambo, Rose Red, Tangelo Twist, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight. The shade changes are sutble which creates the flow of the card.
Beneath the flowers are three strips of Washi tape from the 2013 Holiday catalog. On retrospect, I probably should have used the newsprint from the new Typeset DSP.
While it is difficult to see in the photo, I scored two lines on the left side of the card and then added the Crushed Curry 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon which sits between the lines.
This photo captures the silver on the flowers better. This was a fun challenge. I hope you will consider trying it out for yourself!
