This week I wanted to try a new challenge - Fusion Card Challenge. You can create a project inspried by the picture (colors), the sketch, or fuse them together for a Fusion card. I went for full on Fusion! Here is the Challenge:
I thought the colors and the sketch were great. Here is my card inspired by both the colors and the sketch:
I love how this turned out. Using Whisper White card stock as my base I created a standard A2 sized card. Then I added a 2 1/2"strip of card stock from the Fresh Print DSP Paper Stack (only available through June 1st).
Using my Real Red, Basic Black, and Crushed Curry Stampin Write Markers I inked up the cake from the Embellished Events stamp set. Then using my Oval Collection Framelits I cut an oval in Real Red card stock and then cut the stamped image in an oval shape. A few Basic Pearls finish off the cake.
The sentiment comes from Sketched Birthday and cut out using my Bitty Banners framelits. The finishing touch are three Real Red (Brights) candy dots.
I really enjoyed playing this challenge. Perhaps I inspired YOU to play too.
I will see you tomorrow.
