Do you ever ponder a stamp set for some time before you purchase it? I have loved the Very Vintage Jumbo Wheel stamp for some time. However, I don't use stamp wheels. This has not stopped me from purchasing them though, because I simply peel the stamp off the wheel and then mount it on the Clear-Mount Cling Foam - and wa-la I have a 6" long stamp! I finally added this stamp to my last Stampin' Up! order and I am so glad I did. Isn't it pretty?
I have been having fun lately creating different size cards. The Pink Pirouette card base is 6" x 3 1/2" and embossed with the Lacy Brocade Texture Embossing Folder (retired and available on the Clearance Rack while supplies last). This size card was perfect to use my new Very Vintage 6" long stamp! I stamped it in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla card stock then inked the edges with Baked Brown Sugar and a Sponge Dauber.
Then I added a Scallop Trim Border of Baked Brown Sugar. The finishing touch is Crumb Cake Seam Binding Ribbon.
A very simple card to create and an elegant feminine result. Thanks for stopping by and I hope I inspired you to get creative today.
