Saturday I mentioned we recently gave out Employee of the Year awards at my office and with the award comes a cash gift. I wanted to create special money card holders for the cash. The gift bags were red so I decided to use Soft Sky and Real Red as my color palette.
Using my Envelope Punch Board this could not have been easier. As a matter of fact I made the two cards I needed one morning before heading off to work!
I measured a one dollar bill and decided the envelope should be 3 x 6 1/2. Following the dimensions on the punch board itself I made the envelope. Then I grabbed my Chalk Talk Bundle (remember you save 15% when you buy these as the bundle). I stamped the frame image onto Real Red card stock with Versamark and used White Emboss Powder to create texture and WOW against the red. Using the coordinating framelit the image was cut out. Then I stamped the sentiment with Real Red Ink onto Whisper White card stock, punched it out with my circle punch and adhered with Stampin Dimensionals.
Using Real Red Taffeta Ribbon I lined it up using Glue Dots to hold it in place. I attached the framed sentiment onto the card and over the ribbon with Stampin Dimensionals. Using the ribbon I tied a pretty bow in the back.
I LOVE how these turned out. The color combination and the simple sentiment made it a special way to deliver this cash element of the award.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope I got your creative mojo going today.
