This week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge was tough. It has a lot of layers in unusual shapes. I struggled to "see" the end result so I kept cutting papers and trying them out. Here is the sketch challenge layout:
My card has a country look to me. It was not what I was working toward.
I love this pattern from the Seasons of Style DSP yet I have struggled using it. The Baked Brown Sugar stretch ribbon and the Cherry Cobbler Regal Collection Candy Dots pull the entire card together. Without those finishing touches it looked like a card with an identify crisis due to all the different shapes.
Cheers,
Michelle
Clean, simple and marvelous. Congratulations on the PPA Pick this week!

Such a wonderful card, Michelle! It is clean and crisp but at the same time the color choices give it a rustic Americana feel. Thanks for joining us at Pals Paper Arts!
